In addition to the minimum general requirements, candidates who seek admission into the Gregory University, Uturu Ph.D Programme must:

1. Be graduates of Gregory University, Uturu or from other approved universities who hold Master’s Degree in the proposed field of study with minimum Final Cumulative Grade Point Average (FCGPA) of 3.5 on a point scale or a minimum of 70% for universities that do not use the FCGPA.
2. Submit a brief proposal of not more than 1500 words on the propose area of research. The proposal should address the following areas: introduction (research focus and motivation), a brief review of the literature, how you intend to conduct the research (methodology), and conclusion (why you think your research is of significance).
3. Where considered necessary, candidates may be required to attend a pre-admission interview (this could be in person, Gregory University Skype or other mode).

Form Purchase at the University Campus

Provision has been made for Candidates to purchase Admission application form at the University Campus from the Bursary Department. Candidate wishing to use this provision should obtain Admission form on payment of N5, 000.00 (five thousand naira) to the Bursary, complete the form as required and submit to the Registrar with a copy of payment receipt.

Guidelines for Completing the Online Payment Form

1. Make a payment of N5,500.00 in the name of the Candidate into any of GUU approved Bank:
2. Click on “Register your Payment Details”  and fill the form accordingly and accurately to enable you receive your Username and Password to complete your Registration.   Warning: Please note that your valid Email Address and Correct GSM number is vital to your Admission. Do not lose it.
3. A message containing your Username and Password (Login Credentials) will be sent to your email address  and SMS  for you to complete the Application Form
4. Click on “Complete your Post UTME Registration”  to complete your registration.
5. You will be requested to enter “Username and Password”. Kindly enter the Login detail sent to your email address.
6. Complete all fields and click on the Submit button.
7. Confirmation email will be sent to your email address. Print out it and come along with it to the Screening Center.
