Course Entry/Admission Requirements for Master of Construction Project Management (MCPM) at University of Ibadan

  • Admission to the Master of Science programme in construction project management is open to graduates of the University of Ibadan and higher educational institutions recognised by the University’s senate with a minimum of Second Class Degree (Lower Division) in a relevant subject area such as Architecture, Engineering, Surveying and Building Technology and at least two years work experience.
  • Applications may be considered from candidates with Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower credit and at least four years experience in the construction industry at management level
  • Registration with professional bodies at corporate or chartered status e.g. MNSE, MNIOB, MNIEVS or MNIA will be an added advantage.

How to Apply for Admission



Step 1: Candidates are required to log-in to the admission portal using their JAMB Registration Number as their username and their surname as the password. The screening costs N2, 000, which would be paid through the admission portal in favour of University of Ibadan (Admission Processing Fee Account)

Step 2: Candidates should print the payment success receipt displaying the full names of the candidate and JAMB registration number as payee and the payment reference number.

Step 3: Upon successful payment, candidates should proceed to the portal to submit their bio-data and O/level results, following every instruction and writing in CAPITAL letters.

Step 4: Candidates should upload their passport photographs and signature, both of which must be clean, clear, without glasses and, in JPEG. The size must also not exceed 50kb.

Step 5: Print the evidence of completion of the transaction and keep for further reference, while awaiting the date of the Post-UTME examination via email and SMS.
