Course Entry/Admission Requirements for BSc in Industrial Chemistry at Western Delta University

Admission Requirements

  • Admission into the Four-Year Degree Programme Candidates to be admitted into the 4-year degree programme must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes at the SSCE, GCE (O’L), WASC, NECO (or its equivalent) which must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and either Biology or Agricultural Science at not more than two sittings.

  • The UTME subjects are English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

Admission Into The Three-Year Degree Programme

  • In addition to requirements in A above, Candidates for the 3-year programme must possess at least two HSC/GCE “A” level passes in Chemistry and any of Physics and Mathematics.
  • Holders of OND with at least Lower Credit in Chemistry, Biochemistry/Science Laboratory Technology may also be eligible for admission.
  • Holders of NCE with a minimum of merit level passes in Chemistry/Physics, Chemistry/Mathematics or Chemistry/Biology, may also be considered for admission.
