Course Entry/Admission Requirements for BSc in Economics at Federal University Gusau

Five credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, and any other subjects.
Candidates must score the minimum points in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the following subjects: English, Maths, Economics and any other subject.
Direct Entry requirement: Two “A” level credit passes in Economics and any of Science, Social Science, Management subjects or History/Government. NCE or ND with credit passes in relevant subject. A merit is required for NCE, 6 points for IJMB or GCE A-Level, and lower credit for OND.
Candidates must in addition to above satisfy the University Matriculation requirements.
