Admission into the Four-Year Degree Programme

• Candidates should possess the SSCE, GCE, NECO O’ Level or its equivalent with credit passes in at least five subjects which must include English language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two sittings.
• In addition to the admission requirements stated above, students seeking admission into the four (4)-year degree programme should enter for the following subjects in UTME: English language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.

Admission into the Three-Year Degree Programme

• The three (3)-year degree programme is for direct entry candidates who must in addition to the O’ Level requirements, possess A’ Level passes in Chemistry and Biology or Zoology/Botany or its equivalents.
• Holders of OND with at least Upper Credit in Biochemistry/Science Laboratory Technology/Chemistry/Food Science Technology may also be eligible for admission.

Direct Entry

• Candidates are expected to possess a good Diploma (with minimum of Lower Credit, NCE (with minimum of Merit) from recognized institutions OR 2 Advanced Level GCE passes in relevant subjects.

Inter University Transfer

• Candidates wishing to transfer from other Universities recognized by the Senate of Western Delta University, may be considered for admission at a level not above 200 provided such candidates meet the minimum departmental admission requirements.

Method of Obtaining Admission Forms:
