Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Requirements

• Candidate for admission into the four-year degree programme in Accounting must possess at least five (5) credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE); General Certificate of Education (GCE), Ordinary level (O/L); National Business and Technical Educational Board (NABTEB), or their equivalents, which must include Mathematics, English Language and Economics or any other social science subject at not more than two sittings.

• In addition, candidates must have minimum acceptable pass mark in UTME.

Direct Entry Requirements

1. Passes in Accounting and Economics in the Advanced Level (A/L) of General Certificate of Education (GCE), Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), the National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) or Joint University Preparatory Examination Board (JUPEB). In addition, candidates must possess at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE, including English Language and Mathematics. The results at both levels must be obtained at not more than two sittings.
2. Diploma in a relevant discipline, at not lower than credit level, obtained from a recognized university; or National Diploma, at not lower than Upper Credit, from a recognized polytechnic or College of Technology. In addition, candidates must possess five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics at the WAEC, GCE (O/L), or NABTEB.
