Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Requirements

• To qualify for admission into a four-year B.Sc. degree programme in Accounting, the candidates must register and sit for UTMB examination on the following subject; English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other subject from Commerce, Bookkeeping, CRK etc., and have a minimum score as stipulated by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board for that session.

• They are also required to have passed SSCE or its equivalent at not more than two sittings with credits in 5 subjects which should include:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Economics and
  • Any other two social science subjects, plus an acceptable level of pass in post UTME screening/interview.

Direct Entry Requirements

• To qualify for admission into a three-year degree programme, i.e. direct entry, the candidates are required to possess the same academic qualifications as the candidates for the four-year degree programme and, in addition, the candidate is required to have a higher academic qualification, such as G.C.E A-Level, ND, HND, BSc. in one field or its equivalent plus an acceptable level of pass in the university screening/interview.

1. To apply for admission to Obong University, first create your profile
2. Login using the email address as username used in creating your online profile. And enter your password
3. Fill the Step 1 form
4. Upload your passport in Admissions-Step2 form (max passport size is 50Kb)
5. Fill your O/Level results in Admissions-Step3 (this is the final stage)
6. Fill your JAMB results in Admissions-Step4 (this is the final stage)
7. Print the registration slip at the completion of registration
8. Pay your registration fee of N10,000.00 only at any First Bank branch to account no. 2012748914
9. Bring your registration slip together with the originals of your credentials and Bank teller to the Admissions Office, Obong University, Obong Ntak OR the University's Liason Office at 78 Oron Rd (3rd floor of Metropolitan Supermarket building, Uyo).
