A candidate seeking admission into the B.Sc programme in Accountancy has to satisfy both the university minimum entry requirements, and Departmental requirements. The basic entry requirements into Accountancy Department are clearly spelt out by the NUC, and further elaborated in the Madonna University General Academic Rules and Regulation (MUGARR). Admission is usually through:

• Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME);
• Direct Entry;
• Inter-University Transfer
• Inter-Departmental Transfer; and
• ATS/ICAN Final Certificate.

Admission through Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

• Candidates must possess a minimum of Five O’Level credits in SSCE, GCE, NECO or their equivalent. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two subjects in not more than two sittings.
• In addition, the candidate must have acceptable scores in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

Direct Entry Admission

• In addition to satisfying the above basic requirements, the candidate must possess at least two A’Level passes or any of the following qualifications: OND/HND from a recognized polytechnics or a B.Sc degree from a recognized university.

Mode of Application for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Undergraduates

1. All prospective undergraduates who scored up to 140 in the most recent JAMB UTME are qualified to apply including those who did not choose madonna as first choice.
2. The stipulated cut-off mark applies to all other courses except Law (200), Medicine (200), Pharmacy (200) and Nursing (200).
3. Candidates awaiting SSCE result or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for admission provided the result will be available on resumption.
4. Candidates should collect Screening forms from any of our three (3) campuses or any branch of Mayfresh Mortgage Bank Nation-wide, fill and submit to the officer the form was previously obtained from.
5. Aslo the form is available online at Fresh Applicants. Open this llink, fill and submit the form online and wait for responses from the university admission office.
6. Note: Screening and Admission forms are FREE

All intending Candidates must undergo medical examination in Madonna University Medical Centres on payment of necessary medical fees.

All completed Admission forms should be submitted to the Admissions Officer or Office of the Registrar, in any of our three (3) campuses, any of Mayfresh Mortgage Bank Nation-wide or electronically through fresh applicants link.
