Admission into the Four-Year Degree Programme

• Candidates seeking admission into B.Sc Geology and Petroleum Studies must satisfy the University admission requirement i.e. five (5) Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, at not more than two sittings of SSCE/NECO/GCE/OL.,

• UTME subjects are English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics.

Admission into the Three-Year Degree Programme (Direct Entry)

• Direct Entry Students, in addition to satisfying the University requirements must have principal passes at HSC/GCE “A”/Level in at least two of the following subjects: Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Physics or equivalent qualification approved by the university.

• Students with the ND Certificates (Merit or Lower Credit) are eligible for admission.

Inter University Transfer

• Candidates wishing to transfer from other universities recognized by the Senate of WDU may be considered for admission at a level not exceeding 200, provided such student meet the minimum departmental requirement.

Method of Obtaining Admission Forms:
