Course Entry/Admission Requirements for B.Eng in Civil Engineering at Redeemer's University

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Requirements

  • Interested candidates must have five (5) credit passes in the SSCE (WAEC or NECO) at not more than 2 sittings in English Language, Mathematics and other subjects relevant to the course of study.
  • Obtain 5 credits at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects including English Language in not more than two sittings;
  • Score a minimum of 200 points in UTME in relevant subjects for the degree programme.
  • Candidates applying to the Redeemer’s University are expected to sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and attain the National aggregate score. This is a statutory requirement for entry into Nigerian Universities.

Direct Entry Requirements

  • For admission into 200 level (direct entry), candidates should (in addition to 5 SSCE credits in relevant subjects, including English language ):
  • Obtain at least 2 “A” level (or its equivalent) passes at GCE or its equivalent in relevant subjects.
  • Holders of OND/ND or NCE with overall Upper Credit passes are eligible for admission to 200 level of the relevant programme provided that such candidates also satisfy the requirements for admission through UTME.

 

  • Candidates are also to note that there are other requirements that may be specific to a College and/or a Programme.
  • In addition, candidates must complete online, Application Form of the University. No admission into the Redeemer’s University is possible without participation in the University screening exercise, and attainment of the required standard for admission into the University.

  • Please click here to create a profile before making payment with your ATM card or visit any of the E-Tranzact partner banks to pay the sum of Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N7,500.00) only for the Redeemer’s University Post UTME using the eTransact platform.
  • Supply a valid JAMB number and other personal details at the bank and obtain a receipt containing your jamb number and a confirmation order number.

POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION

  1. Visit Postgraduate Website: http://cpgs.run.edu.ng
  2. Click on Admissions Menu and read the instructions on the page before creating an application profile.
  3. Click on “Create Application” to create your profile; once done, a payment link will be sent to the email you registered with.
    • Follow the instructions in the mail to pay online.
    • Application fee is ten thousand naira N10,000 only (excluding transaction charges.)
  4. Once payment is made, print your receipt and use the link provided on the payment page to redirect back to the admission portal.
  5. An activation link will be sent to your email address for profile activation. Click on the link, then login to complete your application.
  6. Your application status must be 100% completed to be considered for processing by the Admissions panel.
  7. Candidates are to request that their academic transcripts be forwarded to the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies, Redeemer’s University, P.M.B. 230, Ede, Osun State.
  8. You are not expected to pay acceptance fee or any other fee until the validity interview is conducted and offer of provisional admission is received.
