Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Requirements

• 5 ‘O’ level subjects at two sittings to include: English Language, Mathematics, Government, and any other subjects from Arts.
• UTME Subjects: English Language, Literature, Government, and any other Art related subject
• Five subjects of the GCE (ordinary) level or WASSC or Grade 11 Teachers Certificate levels passed with at least credit level in not more than two sittings, (including two science subjects).

Direct Entry Requirements:

1. Five credits at GCE O ‘Level or SSCE or TC II and two passes at principal level in HSC or GCE Advanced level in one sitting or four in two sittings.
2. Five credits in National Diploma with a cumulative grade point of not lower than 3.50 (on a 5.0 point scale) or an equivalent qualification.
3. Inter-University transfer. Candidate should have basic admission requirement and their transcripts forwarded to our University to access the level he/she starts.
4. Intra-University transfer (candidate moving from one department to another within Madonna University). The candidate must have a minimum level of GPA of about 2.50.
5. NCE, HND. The candidate must meet the University’s general requirements and obtain a credit in relevant subject option he or she wishes to pursue.
6. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.

Candidates admitted through UTME shall enroll in the four-year degree programme. Those admitted by direct entry shall start in the second year of the four year programme.

Mode of Application for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Undergraduates

1. All prospective undergraduates who scored up to 140 in the most recent JAMB UTME are qualified to apply including those who did not choose madonna as first choice.
2. The stipulated cut-off mark applies to all other courses except Law (200), Medicine (200), Pharmacy (200) and Nursing (200).
3. Candidates awaiting SSCE result or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for admission provided the result will be available on resumption.
4. Candidates should collect Screening forms from any of our three (3) campuses or any branch of Mayfresh Mortgage Bank Nation-wide, fill and submit to the officer the form was previously obtained from.
5. Aslo the form is available online at Fresh Applicants. Open this llink, fill and submit the form online and wait for responses from the university admission office.
6. Note: Screening and Admission forms are FREE

All intending Candidates must undergo medical examination in Madonna University Medical Centres on payment of necessary medical fees.

Where to submit necessary documents?

All completed Admission forms should be submitted to the Admissions Officer or Office of the Registrar, in any of our three (3) campuses, any of Mayfresh Mortgage Bank Nation-wide or electronically through fresh applicants link.
