Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Requirements

• Candidates applying to Mountain Top University are expected to sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and attain the National Aggregate Score. This is a statutory requirement for entry into Nigerian universities. Candidates are required to apply for programmes of their choice by completing the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Registration Forms. They are to ensure that their UTME subject combination qualifies them for their chosen programmes.
• Candidates must take at the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations [UTME], English Language, Literature in English and any other two subjects from the Social Sciences and the Arts. It is required that candidates must possess 5 O’ Level Credits at one sitting and 6 O’ Level Credits at two sittings including English Language, Mathematics and Literature-in-English.

Direct Entry Requirements

• Candidates must have obtained five credit passes at one sitting or six credits passes at two sittings at the ‘O’ Level/Senior Secondary Certificate (WAEC; NECO, etc.). Such credits must include English Language, Literature in English and Mathematics. In addition, candidates must possess two “A” level passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Literature.

Step 3 – Select the “Application Type” and complete the form then click “continue”
Step 4 – Note your “Payment Voucher” and print out your payment advice.
Step 5 – Kindly make payment by clicking the “Pay Online” if you want to pay online or by printing out the payment voucher containing Payment Reference Number for payment at any commercial bank in Nigeria listed below.

Step 6 – After payment, return to the Mountain Top University Portal,
Step 7 – Click “Prospective Student”
Step 8 – Click the “Apply Now” link under the Student Menu
Step 9 – Click Continue Application
Step 10 – Complete the Application form and Print out then await Screening Date via Email and SMS.
