Course Entry/Admission Requirements for B.A. in English Literature at Clifford University

Direct Entry

i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Literature in English and one other Arts subject.
ii) NCE (Merit grade) in English Language or relevant discipline
iii) OND in relevant field not below Upper credit grade
iv) HND in relevant field not below Lower Credit grade

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

  • Five credit passes in Literature in English, English Language and other three subjects,  two of which must be Arts subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations.

UTME Subjects

  • English Language, Literature in English, one other Arts subject and another Arts or Social Science subject.


Special Considerations Waivers

  • Candidates require at least a Credit in Mathematics
