Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Requirements

• Candidates admitted on a four-year programme by UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) must have passed English Language, Literature in English and three other relevant subjects with at least credit level in not more than two sittings in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination or its equivalent.

Direct Entry Requirements

• Direct entry candidates for the three year programme, in addition to the above, must have obtained a grade of at least a credit pass in Literature in English and one other Arts subject in the GCE or its equivalent.

Inter-University/Inter-Departmental Transfer

• Transfer students may be admitted for a four- three- or two-year programme for the B.A. Degree based on their academic qualification. This must be thoroughly verified by the Department and approved by the senate. 

Mode of Application for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Undergraduates

1. All prospective undergraduates who scored up to 140 in the most recent JAMB UTME are qualified to apply including those who did not choose madonna as first choice.
2. The stipulated cut-off mark applies to all other courses except Law (200), Medicine (200), Pharmacy (200) and Nursing (200).
3. Candidates awaiting SSCE result or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for admission provided the result will be available on resumption.
4. Candidates should collect Screening forms from any of our three (3) campuses or any branch of Mayfresh Mortgage Bank Nation-wide, fill and submit to the officer the form was previously obtained from.
5. Aslo the form is available online at Fresh Applicants. Open this llink, fill and submit the form online and wait for responses from the university admission office.
6. Note: Screening and Admission forms are FREE

All intending Candidates must undergo medical examination in Madonna University Medical Centres on payment of necessary medical fees.

Where to submit necessary documents?

All completed Admission forms should be submitted to the Admissions Officer or Office of the Registrar, in any of our three (3) campuses, any of Mayfresh Mortgage Bank Nation-wide or electronically through fresh applicants link.
